Embrace the Journey
Cloud Computing
Safely and securely deliver the functionality of your IT to your employees, clients and suppliers, wherever they may be, is a standard yet critical requirement for most organisations, regardless of size.

The challenge is that corporate mobility; business agility; security; compliance and business continuity make it complex and costly to both deliver and manage.

The advent of Cloud Computing considerably increases the options available to address this challenge and should be considered by all organisations looking to leverage the scale, availability and cost efficiencies that can be realised through the adoption of Cloud Services.

Cloud computing provides a elasticity where you only pay for 'what you need.' This is a complete shift from traditional computing where organisations need to invest based on 'potential peak' utilisation which in most cases results in an infrastructure which is underutilised and has a really poor Return on Investment (ROI).
Public Cloud

For those organisations that can fully embrace Public Cloud. With this approach you can fully realise the benefits of Public Cloud infrastructure. Many organisations have already completed this journey. However their businesses could naturally leverage Public Cloud i.e. BBC, Netflix and Kellogs to name but a few. Others have had to adapt their IT Services model in order to be 'all-in' with Public Cloud.

With this model the Cloud Provider owns all of the underlying infrastructure.
Hybrid Cloud

Hybrid Cloud allows for organisations to leverage a computing environment in which an organisation provides and manages some resources in-house and has others provided externally. This allows a business to take advantage of the scalability and cost-effectiveness of the public cloud without exposing mission-critical applications and data to third-party vulnerabilities.

A Hybrid Cloud infrastructure consists of resources which you own and are required to manage as well as seamless integration with a Cloud Provider.
Private Cloud

Private cloud is a cloud computing that delivers similar advantages to public cloud, including scalability and self-service, but through a proprietary architecture. Early adopters of subscription based IT or those that require bespoke a bespoke solution.

Whilst there is a place for Private Cloud the business justifications need to be very compelling as this is a more traditional approach based on how the industry has evolved.
